Partners
The data center predevelopment ecosystem is big enough that no single vendor will serve the whole stack. We partner with engineering firms, law firms, consultants, brokerages, and agencies. This page is an honest map of how we work with each category.
Partner category
Burns & McDonnell, Black & Veatch, POWER Engineering, DNV, Sargent & Lundy — the engineering depth that no software can replace. Cliffcenter sits alongside their models, not inside them.
How we work together
We integrate with PSS/E, PowerWorld, PLEXOS, PSCAD, and OpenDSS. Our upgrade-cost envelope model runs against the engineering consultant's base case without rewriting it. We make the consultant's work auditable and reusable; we do not replace the consultant.
Typical patterns
Become a partner: Reach out if you're an engineering firm with active data center interconnection work. We offer a preferred partner program with priority engineering support, shared deal flow, and co-marketing on case studies.
Partner category
The second tier of energy law firms — the ones competing for deals against Latham, Baker Botts, and Gibson Dunn. For them, Cliffcenter is a force multiplier that lets them bid on work they could not otherwise staff.
How we work together
The regulatory graph gives mid-tier firms parity on rulemaking tracking and precedent research. Deal rooms support redlining, version control, and exhibit generation. We do not replace the partner's judgment or the associate's drafting — we compress the reading time and the coordination overhead.
Typical patterns
Become a partner: If your firm has 10+ DC-adjacent matters per year and wants a platform partner, email partnerships@cliffcenter.com. We offer firm-wide licensing and training.
Partner category
State economic development agencies are under-digitized and actively RFP'ing for modernization. Arizona's ACA is one example; VEDP, JobsOhio, IEDC, GA DECD, and TDED are all similar in shape.
How we work together
Our Incentive Optimization atlas publishes public program data in a structured schema that agencies can consume through API. For agencies running their own incentive workflows, we offer a read-only partner portal that makes their filings easier to review — without changing their authority or process.
Typical patterns
Become a partner: We work with agencies at no cost — the goal is to make filings easier to process, which helps both sides. Email partnerships@cliffcenter.com with your agency's name and we'll schedule a briefing.
Partner category
Jefferies, Lazard, Evercore, Newmark, and the boutique infrastructure finance advisors running diligence on DC transactions. For them, Cliffcenter is a diligence accelerator.
How we work together
We ship standardized diligence packages tuned to infra fund and strategic buyer information requirements. Advisor teams get read-only seats into customer workspaces; the customer retains control of the underlying data.
Typical patterns
Become a partner: Advisory firms working on three or more active DC transactions can sign a reciprocal partner agreement with us. Standardized diligence package templates are included.
Partner category
CBRE, JLL, Cushman & Wakefield, Newmark. The brokerages run site selection and tenant representation at a scale no software can replace. Cliffcenter handles the workflow below the brokerage relationship.
How we work together
Brokerages bring the relationship and the site supply. We handle the regulatory and incentive workflow on top. Customers use both — the brokerage for brokerage, us for paperwork automation. We refuse to compete on brokerage commissions.
Typical patterns
Become a partner: Real estate brokerages can refer customers to Cliffcenter for the regulatory and incentive workflow. We ship a brokerage-specific intake flow and a standard referral agreement.
Partner category
Deloitte, Accenture, KPMG, EY, and boutique systems integrators working on customer transformations. For them, Cliffcenter is a domain layer they wire into larger programs.
How we work together
SIs get a technical partner program with API access, integration playbooks, and customer hand-off protocols. We are happy to sit under a larger transformation program.
Typical patterns
Become a partner: Technical partners get an API key, a dedicated support channel, and co-sell opportunities on enterprise deals. Email partnerships@cliffcenter.com for terms.
Our stance
The data center predevelopment market is not a zero-sum fight between software and services. It is a stack where engineering, legal, brokerage, consulting, and agency relationships each do specific work that software cannot fully replace.
Our wedge is the paperwork layer underneath the relationships. We read the rulemakings. We track the dockets. We auto-generate the filings. We maintain the regulatory graph that everyone else would otherwise maintain in PDFs.
If you run a firm in any of the categories above and you see a way to work together, the shortest path is an email to partnerships@cliffcenter.com with a one-paragraph note about your practice. We reply within a business day.
Partners
Engineering firm, law firm, consultancy, agency — we take every inbound seriously. The best partner conversations start with a concrete deal or project we can both help.
